An earth-shaking addendum
I spoke too soon in my previous entry. An earthquake struck shortly after. It was mild, and my apartment is very safe from such things, so worry not. It was actually rather cool, in a reluctant "someone else is probably being inconvenienced or injured by this" sort of way.
